BMW M6 And Nissan GTR By 1013MM Photography Autoplex BMW

There are some days when writing about car is quite exciting, if not every day. And today is one of those days. Writing an article on a photo shoot that has a BMW M6 and a Nissan GTR all in one place may well be one of the easiest things to do for an automotive writer.
Even though these two cars are often compared to each other, I personally believe they are miles apart in some aspects.
The Nissan GT-R is powered by the VR38DETT V6 engine, a 3.8l DOHC V6 with plasma transferred wire arc sprayed cylinder bores. Two parallel Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) turbochargers provide forced induction, allowing for great levels of power in a light and volume related a really small engine by the horsepower it produces. Nissan GTR produces manufacturer-claimed engine output (for the first models) of 492 PS (362 kW; 485 hp) at 6400 rpm and 434 lb·ft (588 N·m) at 3200–5200 rpm. This propels the 1,730 or 1,736 kg (3,814 or 3,827 lb) heavy Nissan GTR (depending on model) from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in under 4.0 seconds. Top speed is 193 mph (311 km/h) for early models.

As far as the BMW M6 goes, the luxury sports car (available as a Coupe or Gran Coupe) features a 4.4l V8 engine that is internally named S63tu which develops 560hp (414kW). This engine provides all the power to the rear wheels through a 7-speed DCT transmission, allowing the 1,929kg or 4,424lbs heavy vehicle to reach 100km/h or 62 mph from a standstill in 4.2 seconds. Top speed is limited to 250km/h which is pretty much the standard for German cars. The front of the car has a newly designed M kidney grille with an “M6” badge – a homage to the first generation M6 which makes me all giddy considering how well details on cars like these work in every way possible.
With a photoshoot by 1013MM Photography, a set of custom Forgestar wheels added, we are certain you will enjoy the media gallery below.
As a visual comparison goes, it’s definitely hard to decide between these two. Both poses some great lines and overall they look outstanding! Enjoy some wallpapers and make sure to tell us how do you like photoshoots like these in the comments below as well.
